About

A strong advocate for civil, political and socio-economic rights, Khurram is a licensed attorney from Kashmir. He believes that law can be an instrumental tool in shaping a just and fair society and this has led him into working for legal aid and social litigation, right from the inception of his law degree. Apart from pursuing several Public Interest Litigations in the J&K High Court, he has worked with many organizations specializing in human rights, public accountability, transparency and social advocacy. He has served as the vice-president of the law society during his law school and also interned with the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), the J&K High Court and is a life member and volunteer at the Red Cross Society.
